I seem to spend most of my waking hours glued to the computer. How can I change this and not allow it to be such a big part of my life?

I'm 17 and my mom makes me have a one hour Xbox time limit. She says that I am wasting my life. And that's all I do but I can only play for one hour.

I think it just tests you will power, so it's up to u whether you use net or refrain using it.

You can set up a timer on your computer to go off at a certain time or just manage your time spent on each site. Only spend 20 minutes checking e-mail, 20 minutes on Facebook, and so on.

Rationalize your time. Set up limits for browsing, reading, shopping, and checking e-mails. I would make it a daily thing this way you can look forward to it without having to worry you missed out on anything.
